EPIC FAIL of the Day 3/28/12
1. The owner of a professional sports franchise has a number of responsibilities and decision to juggle on a daily basis. It’s not uncommon for the work to spill over into an owner’s home life, either. But Golden State Warriors owner Joe Lacob got himself in a mess when he signed off on the trade of star guard Monta Ellis to Milwaukee. “My fiancee is mad at me,” he said to the San Francisco Chronicle in the hallway off the court before Wednesday night’s game. “She hasn’t talked to me in two days.” Reporters didn’t believe him. “There she is,” Lacob said. “Ask her.” Curran then breezed by, looking less than pleased.

2. An undercover police officer who posed as a California high school student for eight months has led to the arrest of 12 students on drug related charges.
The students aged 15 to 19 of Exeter Union High School were arrested after the 22-year-old officer who went by the name of ‘Johnny Ramirez’ infiltrated their alleged drug ring.
The school was put on a 90-minute lockdown Wednesday afternoon while the arrests were made to 11 of the accused students.
‘We made the campus safer today. And for those who think they got away with something, I hope they rethink their behaviour,’ Exeter Police Chief Cliff Bush told the Visalia Times-Delta.

(LMFAO, that is so effed up, I would be so salty if that was me, the drugs ordeal must have been serious if the cop had to go undercover for eight months. – J.K.)
3. The state fire marshal’s office is investigating an incident at a hotel in Aberdeen in which a guest was pranked into breaking the sprinkler system with a toilet bowl lid, which subsequently caused several rooms to flood. Firefighters were called to the second floor of the Holiday Inn Express in the 1000 block of Beards Hill Road about 1:30 a.m. Friday. Fire officials said a female guest was contacted by someone at the website pranku.net and told that a gas leak had occurred in the hotel. The guest was then tricked into breaking off the sprinkler head in her room with a toilet bowl cover, which then caused water to flow into eight rooms and the floor below. Officials said there was about $50,000 worth of damage to the hotel. No charges have been filed at this point.
Pranku.net is a website that apparently enlists a group of phone vandals to call unsuspecting people at places like hotels and fast food restaurants across the country and trick them into doing things, many of which cause damage. A similar prank call was posted on YouTube in which the prank caller coaxed a woman to break out a window of her hotel room under the guise that there was a fire.

(Haha, how dumb can you be? Honestly…… – J.K.)
The singer, 43, was pulled over around 12:05 p.m. in the San Fernando Valley, about two miles from his Encino residence, according to the California Highway Patrol.
“He was driving and talking on his cell phone,” Officer Tiana Reed told the Daily News. “Officers, when contacting him, noted intoxication on him — the smell of alcohol — and they performed some field sobriety tests.”
She said Brown was arrested at 12:20 p.m. and booked into a Los Angeles Police Department jail in Van Nuys.
