Blue Ivy Carter Causing Some Controversy
So as you guys have OBVIOUSLY HEARD if you follow this blog or any blog for that matter, Beyonce and Jay-Z have given birth to a child named Blue Ivy Carter. I’d like to thank the couple for all of the views I got on this blog over the weekend lol, here is an official statement from Beyonce’s website where she denies the rumors that Blue was born via a C-Section:
Hello Hello Baby Blue!
We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012. Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives. We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support. Beyoncé & JAY Z

And of course, as we’ve talked about today, Jay-Z has released a new single that is dedicated to his new born daughter. In the song we learn that Beyonce went through a miscarriage and that the baby was “created” in Paris (TMI, don’t you think, LOL).
But the birth of this baby has not been without a lot of controversy. Rumors have surfaced all over Twitter that the newborn’s name backwards means “Lucifer’s daughter”. Over the years, it’s been rumored that Beyonce and Jay-Z are a part of the Illuminati, a devil-worshiping group that supposedly controls the world. Jay-Z addressed his beliefs on an episode of “Oprah’s Master Class” on the Oprah Winfrey Network last year stating that he doesn’t believe in God and is definitely not a devil worshiper but that he believes that there is a God and that he serves all religions. I disagree with his belief but that’s another story for another day.
The baby has also caused controversy because there were reports that the couple rented out the whole fourth floor of Lenox Hill Hospital which meant that alot of family members of patients on the fourth floor weren’t able to see their loved ones because of security and trying to make sure no pictures of the baby leaked. Here is the story from TMZ:
Lactation and retaliation … TMZ has learned a bunch of new moms are passionately discussing BOTH topics at the hospital where Beyonce just gave birth.
Sources at Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC tell TMZ … the mothers have been gathering at a breastfeeding class at the hospital … and in between latching techniques, they’ve been griping about the way they’ve been treated during the celebrity lockdown.
We’re told the mothers feel they’ve been “neglected” by hospital staff … and now they’re discussing the possibility of filing a lawsuit against LHH.
According to NYDailyNews.com, Bey and Jay-Z dropped $1.3 mil to seal off a private wing of the hospital … with private security roaming all over the place.
Our sources say several mothers have been seen arguing with Bey’s security people … accusing the hired muscle of being “extremely rude.”
Still, we’re told the mothers are not mad at Bey and Jay — directing the blame solely at the people who run the hospital.
One source tells us, “Someone at the hospital should be protecting us patients.”
We’ve placed calls to the hospital — so far, no response.
Another father says that he was prevented from seeing his premature twins, here’s the story from Metro:
One new father claims the Halo singer’s ‘circus’ prevented him from visiting his premature twins.
Neil Coulon, 38, said: ‘Three times they stopped me from entering or exiting the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) and it happened once on Friday – just because they wanted to use the hallway.’
Lenox Hill Hospital released a statement to TMZ denying all of these reports:
Beyonce and Jay-Z did NOT pay $1.3 million so the Destiny’s Child singer could give birth to Blue Ivy in a sealed off private floor … this according to the hospital.
A rep for Lenox Hill hospital just released a statement, claiming, “The suggestion that the couple paid $1.3 million to rent an entire maternity floor is simply not true.”
The rep adds, “The family is housed in an executive suite at the hospital and is being billed the standard rate for those accommodations. ”
According to the rep, “The family does have its own security detail on site. However, the hospital has been and continues to be in control of managing all security at the facility. We have made every effort to ensure minimal disruption to other families experiencing the births of their own children over the past three days.”
