Melanie Amaro, Astro, Rachel Crow, Josh Krajick: Where Are They Headed?
Melanie Amaro, the $5 million winner of the X-Factor seems destined to sign with Syco Records/Columbia and will continue to be mentored by Simon Cowell. She has promised her mom that she would buy her a house and she also says that she is unaware of what direction she’s going to go with her next album, stay tuned.
Josh Krajick is also reportedly signing with Syco Records/Columbia which is part of the whole Sony Music family and would be co-label mates with Melanie (potential duet?) One thing we know for sure is that he’s done slinging burritos!
The 14-year old phenom that took over “X-Factor” and the internet for a couple weeks is expected to sign with Epic Records and continue his mentorship with L.A. Reid. He is expected to join Marcus Canty and Chris Rene. Natahsa Bedingfield has already said that she would love to duet with Mr. Astro and he has already been featured alongside Cher Lloyd in a song expected to be released next year. Lloyd is a finalist from the U.K. version of the show
Rachel Crow was shockingly eliminated from “X-Factor” after being predicted as the person most likely to win by many viewers and observers of the show. But life is still good for her, she told Steve Jones on the finale that she would be interested in hosting TV shows in the future and according to TMZ, she is in serious talks with the Disney Channel and Nickeloden in becoming it’s newest star. Disney has already gotten involved in diversifying their stars with the additions of China McClain and Selena Gomez while Nickelodeon is providing competition by bringing in Cymphonique Miller, Romeo’s sister. Her manager is the CEO of Ticketmaster and she has the same lawyer as Lady GaGa, she is destined for big things (potentially the biggest star out of everyone in this season of “XF”)
